Travelling Solo? Join Our Blue Mountains Tour!

Always wanted to visit the Blue Mountains but can't convince anyone to come along? Travelling solo is not only possible but also well worth your time. These days, solo travel is more convenient, accessible, and enjoyable than ever!

If you’re thinking of taking a trip to the Blue Mountains, joining a tour is a great way to experience the many wonders of this World Heritage-listed national park. Today, we’re going to cover the ins and outs of our daily tours, including what to expect, what’s included, and much more!

Why Should You Visit the Blue Mountains?

Spectacular, rugged, and justifiably world-famous, the Blue Mountains are a must-see for locals and tourists alike. Nicknamed the “Grand Canyon” of Australia, this region is home to deep gorges, steep cliffs, stunning lookouts, excellent bushwalks, and rich flora and fauna.

From Scenic World to Wentworth Falls and Lincoln’s Rock, each destination offers something unique and memorable–even for people who live or work in the local area. Most of all, this is the perfect way to take in native Australian bushland in all of its glory.

What’s more, the Blue Mountains is also full of charming towns brimming with culture, food, arts, and overall, a genuinely welcoming environment for visitors.

Reasons to Go on a Guided Tour

Despite all of the wonders on offer, navigating this region on your own isn’t always easy. From logistical aspects to choosing between different destinations, it can all get a little difficult and overwhelming (especially if this is your first time visiting).

Fortunately, there are great Blue Mountain tours that take you back and forth from Sydney. This means no driving, no getting lost, and no difficult decisions. All you’ll need to do is sit back, enjoy, and learn fascinating tidbits about the region from a knowledgeable tour guide.

What makes OzTrails the best choice? We are recommended by Lonely Planet, Let’s Go, Trip Advisor, Sydney Visitors Centre and many of Sydney’s leading hotels and booking agencies. From start to finish, we offer the individual attention that you don’t tend to get on other larger tours. What’s more, we’re also committed to offering some of the best prices on the market today.

What About the Benefits?

Convenience: Guided tours handle all the logistics, including transportation, entrance fees, and itinerary planning, allowing you to relax and enjoy the experience without worrying about the details.

Expert Knowledge: Tour guides are usually knowledgeable about the history, culture, and significance of the locations visited, providing valuable insights and stories that you might miss on your own.

Time Efficiency: Guided tours are often optimised to cover the maximum number of attractions in a limited time, ensuring you make the most of your day.

Safety: Travelling with a group and a professional guide can enhance your safety, especially in unfamiliar or potentially hazardous areas.

Social Interaction: These tours offer an opportunity to meet and interact with other travellers, which can enrich the travel experience and create lasting memories.

Access to Exclusive Experiences: Some guided tours include access to special areas or activities that might not be available to the general public.

Local Insights: Guides often provide tips on local customs, cuisine, and hidden gems, helping you experience the destination like a local.

Stress-Free Experience: With everything taken care of by the tour operator, you can enjoy a stress-free day without having to worry about planning and coordination.
Cultural Immersion: Through interactions with local guides and visits to cultural sites, you gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of the destination’s culture.
